Eligibility To Work

In order to work within Australia you need to hold a valid work permit or visa. Requirements for these vary greatly depending on factors such as nationality and skills. Visas themselves can be obtained from your local Australian Embassy or High Commission; www.immi.gov.au has detailed information about types and applying.

New Zealander’s wanting to work in Australia need only hold a valid New Zealand passport.

Temporary Business (Long Stay) - Standard Business Sponsorship

Skilled — Independent Visa

This visa allows you to migrate to Australia if you have good English language skills and have skills and qualifications in an occupation in need in Australia.

This visa uses a points test to select visa applicants with characteristics needed in the Australian labour market.
